On April 28, 2013, Woodroffe United Church in Ottawa, Canada made use of Jan Jarvlepp's setting of the Lord's Prayer in their weekly church service. Music Director Katarina Jovics conducted the church's choir and an ensemble of congregation members which was joined by the composer on cello.
On January 4, 2013, the day after the composer's 60th birthday, The Composer Performs Series at GigSpace presented Jan Järvlepp and Friends in Jarvlepp@60. This unusual event, which was sponsored by the Canadian Music Centre, consisted of a one hour concert of Jan Jarvlepp's music followed by a question and answer session in which the audience participated. Performing were Pascale Margely - flute and piccolo, Lotta Lundsten - violin, Galina Rezaeipour - violin, Emmanuel Beaudet - viola, Armas Maiste - piano and Jan Järvlepp - cello and electric guitar.
On December 21, 2012 the Garbage Concerto was performed at the 2012 Midwest Clinic by the Walton Symphony Orchestra directed by Perry Holbrook. This took place in Ballroom W375E at the Hyatt McCormick Place in Chicago, Illinois, USA. The same performers also played the piece at Lassiter High School in Marietta, Georgia on December 10, 2012. Buset Centre for Music and Visual Arts at Lakehead University in Thunder Bay, Ontario. The players were Mike Kennedy - alto saxophone, and Daniel Witt - electric guitar.
On November 24, 2012 the Stellae Boreaiis violin ensemble, organized into two "teams", performed the PIng Pong Game at Centretown United Church, Ottawa, Canada as part of their fundraising concert.

The performers were Caroline Orzan - flute, Alice Clavel - oboe, Dominique Vincent - clarinet, Paul-Henri Astier - French horn and Franck Leblois - bassoon.
The third movement of the Atlantic Salmon Quintet was played by the Chamber Players of Canada at a special event called Music and Dining which blended musical selections with six courses of corresponding culinary selections. The performance of this piece was accompanied by Atlantic Salmon gravlax with gooseberry vinaigrette prepared by three of Ottawa's top chefs. The event took place on July 13, 2012 at Tabaret Hall, Ottawa. On July 14, Capital BrassWorks performed the last movement of the Symphony for Brass and Percussion in the auditorium of Technical High School in Ottawa. To see video, click here

Performing were Marie Bérard - violin, Guylaine Lemaire - viola, Julian Armour - cello, John Geggie - string bass and Andrew Tunis - piano.

On December 12, 2011 the Luna Nova Ensemble presented Sunset in their Winter Concert at Grace-St. Luke's Episcopal Church in Memphis, Tennessee. The performers were Robert Patterson, French horn and David Carlisle, vibraphone.

The performers were mandolinist Gary Payne, violinists Alyze Dreiling and Laura Welch, violist Sarah Welch and cellist Emily Balderrama.
On June 9, 2011, the Winnipeg Chamber Music Society performed the Atlantic Salmon Quintet at the Muriel Richardson Auditorium in the Winnipeg Art Gallery in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada.
http://wcms.mb.ca/seasons/ The Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra, under the direction of Matthew Kraemer, gave 14 performances of the first movement of the Garbage Concerto during the 2010-11 season starting on Sept. 16, 2010 and ending on May 25, 2011. The program's theme "Rehearse, Reuse, Recycle!" was directed at young listeners. Percussionists from the orchestra were featured as soloists in these concerts which took place at Kleinhans Music Hall, Buffalo, New York, USA.
The Phoenix Symphony, under the direction of Joseph Young, performed the first movement of the Garbage Concerto in a Family Concert on March 19, 2011 at Phoenix Symphony Hall, Phoenix, Arizona, USA. The Return of the Batmobile and The Trek were performed by young violinists Nara Roske-Soda and Karen Jarvlepp accompanied by the composer on cello.
On April 5, 2011, the Suite for Strings was performed at the Royal Conservatory of Music in Toronto at an event called "Ping!" by the Earl Haig/Claude Watson String Ensemble of Toronto conducted by Alan Torok. They had previously performed this suite at the Kiwanis Festival on Feb. 23, 2011 at the Cardinal Carter Academy, Toronto. They had also performed two movements of the suite on Dec. 15, 2011 at the December Music Showcase held at the MacMillan Theatre in Toronto, and on Nov. 23, 2011 at Boris Brott's Orchestral Workshop held at Earl Haig Secondary School in Toronto. Performing were Victor Herbiet - soprano sax and instructor, Jacob Armstrong - alto sax, Maxime Brisson - tenor sax, and Jeremy Mulder - baritone sax. Jarvlepp also took part in the concert as a cellist playing Evelyn Stroobach's Bereft with violinist Ralitsa Tcholakova.

The Toronto Symphony Orchestra, under the direction of Rosemary Thomson, gave nine performances of the first movement of the Garbage Concerto in a program for youngsters entitled Music for the Earth. The concerts took place in Roy Thomson Hall, Toronto on May 3, May 11, May 13, May 14, May 17, 2010, at various times. This four-movement work, intended for youth string orchestra, was commissioned by the Norman Burgess Memorial Fund, which is dedicated to promoting the composition of educational string works. http://www.oyoa-aojo.ca/ In 2010, the Tacap percussion quintet gave three performances of the Garbage Concerto in Belém, Brazil accompanied by the Orquestra Sinfônica do Teatro da Paz. On April 28, they performed it at the Centro de Convenções Benedito Nunes at the Federal University of Pará (UFPA) with Enaldo Oliveira conducting. This was the Brazilian premiere of the piece. On April 29, the same performers played it at Teatro Maria Sylvia Nunes in the Estação das Docas (Docks Neighborhood). This was the closing performance of the Third Festa do Ritmo (Rhythm Festival), an annual percussion festival held in Belém. On June 13, the same soloists and orchestra performed the first movement of the concerto led by William LaRoue Jones at the Anfiteatro São Pedro Nolasco in the closing performance of the XXIII Festival Internacional de Música de Pará.
